Hi, I'm generally known as Arantor. I make stuff.

I make lots of different stuff, some of which lives here, and some of which lives elsewhere on the Internet, and some of which lives here.

Arantor's Perch is primarily for little things, test subjects and more, but some stuff I've built is much bigger and more interesting, if you'd care to browse? The links are below:

  A humour-based web translator, featuring many different dialects or voices

When I'm not working on WordOwl, I tend to help out on the forums for Sphinx with user problems, and working on developing the manual, but there are still a few other projects still round, most of them archived off until I extract the best material and repost it; I tend to concentrate my time on WordOwl now, and I don't actively maintain The Voices of Many any more. It works reasonably well, and I'm content with leaving it as it is. It's something for a rainy day when I am bored, to poke around with.

I used to be involved heavily with Emerald Editor, a community project to develop a text editor based on Crimson Editor. Unfortunately I am not very active any more, despite hosting the project, and shortly will be moving most of it to SourceForge.

I do also host a low traffic forum for collaborative writing, although since mid-September we have been very quiet, planning to work on NaNoWriMo instead, although I did develop a few extensions to the forum for writing tools and will play around with a few on occasion.
